From the age of 4 children are welcome to join a skicourse. For young children we offer a trial day, which you can extend if all is going well.
The meeting point is at our office on the carpark at the Fleckalmbahn gondola.
In order for the skischool to organize the planning and group allocation, we ask you to prebook a minimum of one day before at our office at the Fleckalmbahn.
In our ski school children are divided into groups primarily according to their ability and age. Should your children or their friends be a similar standard, we kindly ask you to inform the instructors just before the ski-off of on the first day, and we will do our best! Should the children not be equally good skiers, then the better skier has to attend the group of the weaker skier.
Most of our instructors speak good english. Kindly express your wishes during the group allocation and we will do our best.
On thursday's we organize a skirace for the children.
We offer half-day courses only as private lessons.
Group lessons are only offered on a whole-day basis (2 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs in the afternoon)!
The children go to a restaurant for lunch together with the group and the teacher.
To do this, simply hand in EUR 12,- per day and child to the teacher.
The children can choose from a few dishes (children's portions) and are served drinks.
Basically money is only reimbursed on presentation of a doctor’s certificate (illness or injury). However there are numerous possibilities (trialdays, extensions,…) which reduce the “risk” for you to a minimum!
We recommend that you accompany your child to the lesson in the morning in order to meet the snowsport instructor personally. Experience has shown that your darlings “work” better and are less distracted when parents are well away from the action and, at the most, watch from a safe distance. During the lessons the children are well looked after by the snowsport instructors!
The skicourses take place in all weather conditions.
No, ski passes can be purchased separately at the Fleckalmbahn gondola.
Children under 6 years don't need a skipass. Some beginner slopes are also free of charge. Beginners are therefore advised to speak to their instructor about when to purchase a skipass. Information about prices can be found at www.bergbahn-kitzbuehel.at
In general groups for beginners and advanced are allocated on sunday and monday. If there is a an existing group of the correct standard it is possible for the advanced to join later in the week.
A skigroup has a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 12 persons.
When the Fleckalmbahn gondola is not operating, we will take a bus to one of the other gondola's.
